-> The 35-year-old Chowchilla resident went around town Wednesday
-> morning, buying every copy he could in an attempt to prevent word
-> from getting out about his arrest for alleged methamphetamine
-> possession.
And now nobody will ever know, EINSTEIN PACHECO!
Lucky nobody in Chowchilla has HOME DELIVERY of newspapers, huh?

Excellent point. Chowchilla has a pretty large "shut-in" population that
isn't going down to the 7-11 for the morning paper.

Reminds me of a touching scene in the movie "Absence of Malice," in
which a young woman scrambles in her pajamas and robe to snatch up all
the newspapers from her neighbors' yards and porches, because she
doesn't want them to learn that she had an abortion.
